Chris Waters brings decades of hands-on experience in wildland fire Incident Management, fire weather program management, and Professional Forestry to Fireshed Forestry Solutions. Having served with CAL FIRE from Fire Captain, Battalion Chief, and as Division Chief, Chris has led critical operations in pre-suppression wildland fire planning, fire suppression operations, prescribed fire, and vegetation management. As a Registered Professional Forester, he combines technical wildland resource expertise with practical wildfire mitigation solutions to help communities adapt to fire-prone environments. Chris is also an advocate for utilizing any and all technologies, with particular emphasis on evolving technologies, to support wildland fire planning, mitigation, and suppression operations.
